Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital seeks a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive care for critically ill neonates, collaborating with neonatology physicians and the care team. The role includes participating in teaching, research projects, and division initiatives for quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with families and team members.
• Proficient in basic computer tasks and documentation.
• Advanced assessment and critical thinking in neonatal care.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive neonatal health assessments and plans for infants and young adults.
• Orders and prescribes pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions.
• Documents care plans daily and coordinates with the care team.
• Collaborates with attending physicians and other providers in inpatient and/or outpatient settings.
• Participates in research projects and quality improvement initiatives.
