Job summary

Ascension St Vincent seeks an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner to provide primary and specialty care in collaboration with physicians, with board certification and prescriptive authority as allowed by Ohio.

You will perform health assessments and exams, order and interpret tests, develop treatment plans, participate in rounds, and assist with discharge planning to ensure high-quality patient care in an onsite hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing preferred.
• Licensed RN in Ohio with NP certification.
• Prescriptive authority or eligibility required by Ohio Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing care for high-acuity patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams on treatment plans.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests.
• Develop patient education plans and discharge summaries.
