Dignity Health’s Mercy San Juan Medical Center in Carmichael, CA is seeking a NICU Respiratory Care Practitioner to provide specialized respiratory therapy for neonates, manage ventilation and medications, and support critical lung function in a highly acute NICU setting.

You will conduct comprehensive neonatal assessments, interpret ABGs, and collaborate with neonatologists and the care team to adapt treatment plans with precision under pressure.

Competenze

• CA license as Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification or equivalent.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential (RRT) required.

Mansioni

• Manage and monitor mechanical ventilation for neonates.
• Administer respiratory medications and perform airway care.
• Implement advanced neonatal respiratory interventions and assessments.
• Interpret blood gases and collaborate with neonatology and interdisciplinary team.
• Adapt treatment plans with precision and urgency in changing clinical situations.
• Respond to emergencies and assist in NICU and NICU surgical areas.
