Job summary

Mercy San Juan Medical Center in Carmichael, CA seeks a NICU Respiratory Care Practitioner to deliver specialized neonatal respiratory therapy in a high-acuity NICU. You will manage ventilation, administer respiratory medications, perform airway care, and support lung function for the tiniest patients.

Collaborating with neonatologists and the multidisciplinary team, you will assess neonatal status, interpret ABGs, adjust treatments, and respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Respiratory Care Practitioner: CA.
• Basic Life Support (AHA).
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor mechanical ventilation in NICU.
• Administer respiratory medications and perform airway care.
• Collaborate with neonatologists and interdisciplinary team; interpret ABGs.
• Respond to emergencies and support rapid changes in patient condition.
