Job summary

Indiana University Health’s Riley Hospital for Children at Westfield seeks a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to lead the NICU team at Community Westfield. The role focuses on advancing patient care for critically ill newborns and coordinating a high-performing, multidisciplinary team.

You will oversee clinical operations, mentor APP staff, and partner with physicians to drive program development and quality initiatives in a Level III NICU setting.

Qualifications

• NNP or PA-Neonatal certification is required.
• APP experience is expected in a leadership role.
• Leadership experience is preferred.
• NICU experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage care plans for critically ill newborns.
• Perform procedures as part of the NICU care team.
• Deliver patient- and family-centered care.
• Participate in quality, safety, and educational initiatives.
• Provide 24-hour coverage with in-house neonatal team leadership.
