Responsibilities

• Obtain and document health history for neonates and perform examinations.
• Provide care for critically ill neonates and manage overall patient care.
• Order, perform, interpret and collect relevant diagnostic data.
• Form differential diagnoses and treat acute and chronic neonatal conditions.
• Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies as needed.
• Deliver in the delivery room and coordinate neonatal transport as required.
