Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System in Cleveland, OH is seeking a dedicated RN to join the Neonatal ICU on the Main Campus. The NICU is a Level IV, 17-bed unit delivering care to newborns with complex medical needs. You will provide direct nursing care, develop care plans, educate families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Shift options include day/night rotation, 7:00am-7:30pm and 7:00pm-7:30am. This role requires active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and at least one year of acute care

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing in the state
• Current BLS certification in accordance with AHA or Red Cross
• ACLS certification to be presented upon hire or within first year of employment
• One year of current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting (or licensed military RN experience)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients' conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
