Redeemer Health in Meadowbrook, PA is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across departments under the Professional Nursing Law, guiding the nursing process and supervising staff as needed. You will deliver direct and indirect care, and communicate with a multidisciplinary team about changes in a patient’s condition and treatment response.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• PA RN license.
• BSN completed or attained within 3 years of hire.
• 1y of related nursing experience required for PRN.
• IV skills.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS in specialty areas (L&D, ED, ICU, PACU, ACU, CVC – required within 6 months).
• NRP (NICU, LDR, MIU, Nursery – required within 6 months).
• PALS (ED, PACU) required within 6 months.
• Fetal monitor certification preferred for LDR (required within 1 to 2 years based on experience).
• Stroke education per unit protocol annually; NIH certification for 2 South RNs and 4 hours for ED/ICCU RNs.
• Must be available for alternate shift work.
• Must meet satisfactory completion of orientation and competency validation within probationary period.

Aufgaben

• Perform all aspects of the nursing process under the Professional Nursing Law.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care and supervise others providing care.
• Communicate with multidisciplinary team members about changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate direction or supervision.
• Act as a patient/customer advocate and Redeemer Health representative meeting patient/family needs.
• Assist in development of new staff nurses and future development of the nursing profession.
