Job summary

• Must have ability to use internet for literature searches regarding care for patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care on a neonatal unit.
• Provide supervision of non-RN personnel and delegate unit activities when acting as charge nurse.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and involve the patient and family in the care plan.
• Meet performance expectations for customer service, teamwork, resource utilization, and staff development.
