Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Level IV NICU at night, 7P-7A, to provide expert nursing care in a high-acuity environment. The role emphasizes direct patient care, collaborative planning, and teaching within a Magnet Hospital setting.

The NICU RN will work with a dedicated team in a 108-bed NICU, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care and ongoing support for patients and families.

Qualifikationen

• ADN/BSN is required to enroll and complete within Magnet Hospital standards.
• Texas State RN license or compact license accepted.
• STABLE within 18 months of employment start date.
• Neonate Resuscitation within 6 months of start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of start date.
• PALS is required.

What You Will Do In This Role

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and provide direct patient care
• Plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources
• Supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN scope of practice and in accordance with established policies
• Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice

What Qualifications You Will Need

• ADN / BSN is required w/12 month enrollment and 24 month completion (Magnet Hospital)
• Texas State RN license or compact license is accepted
• Must have one (1) year recent Level III or IV NICU RN experience in an acute care hospital
• STABLE must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
