Job summary

Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit on the night shift (7pm–7am). The RN will provide high-quality, safe patient care within an interdisciplinary team, guided by the Wellstar Practice Model and evidence-based standards.

The role requires at least 2 years of direct patient care experience, RN licensure, and certifications in BLS, NRP/ARC-NALS, and RN-compact or single-state licensure.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate degree or Diploma in Nursing; BSN preferred.
• All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
• Minimum 2 years direct patient care experience.
• RN license requirements: RN - Registered Nurse (single state) or RN-COMPACT (multi-state)

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence-based practice.
• Delivers relationship-based patient-centered care reflecting cultural diversity.
• Partners with patients and families using bedside shift reports, rounds, education, and clear communication.
• Practices according to current clinical practice standards.
