Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a Nursing Education Leader to design and implement orientation and competency assessment programs for non-physician clinical staff, ensuring standardized workflows and high-quality patient care. The role oversees Environment of Care and Infection Prevention collaboration, with emphasis on staff development and policy oversight.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Master’s preferred), and 5 years of clinical/management experience (NICU preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field required.
• Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
• 5 years of clinical management experience, preferably in neonatal intensive care.
• BLS certification, specialty nursing certification, and NJ nursing license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead orientation and competency assessments for non-physician staff.
• Develop and deliver education programs for staff and other departments.
• Plan and implement quality improvement initiatives for clinical education and environment of care.
• Collaborate with IP and EOC teams to ensure infection control adherence.
• Review data to measure impact on patient care and staff performance.
• Update policies and procedures to reflect best practices and regulatory requirements.
