Job summary
OSF HealthCare Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois is seeking qualified neonatal specialists for the NCCU. The role focuses on managing premature and high-risk infants with invasive and non-invasive support in a private-room 64-bed unit.
You will participate in family-centered rounds and collaborate with subspecialists from cardiology and neurology. Requirements include Illinois licensure as an APRN or PA, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner certification, NRP, and BLS/ACLS; prior NCCU
Qualifications
- Active Illinois APRN or PA license and DEA registration.
- Neonatal Nurse Practitioner certification required.
- NRP certification is mandatory.
- BLS/ACLS certification is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to premature and high-risk neonates in a Level III NCCU.
- Monitor patients with invasive and non-invasive modalities and participate in rounds.
- Perform bedside procedures such as intubation, thoracentesis, PICC lines, and resuscitation as needed.
- Collaborate with neonatology, NICU staff, and subspecialists for transport and transfer of critical infants.
