Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner in Tennessee
• Relevant neonatal/critical care experience
• Master’s degree required; less than 1 year experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document health history for neonate.
• Provide neonatal healthcare for critically ill/complex patients.
• Order, perform, interpret, and collect data with appropriate diagnostics.
• Form differential diagnoses and treat neonatal conditions.
• Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies; consider surgery as needed.
• Perform delivery room services and neonatal transport; arrange referrals as needed.
• Facilitate patient transitions between care settings.
