Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN, is seeking an experienced NICU Advanced Practice Provider to join the Monroe Carell Children's Hospital NICU team. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to support critically ill newborns from admission to discharge.

The position requires an APN or PA license in Tennessee, with a Master's degree in a relevant field and less than 1 year of experience. Relocation assistance may be available for eligible candidates.

Qualificações

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Tennessee.
• Master's degree in nursing or related field required.
• Less than 1 year of experience in NICU/advanced practice preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Obtains and documents a health history for a neonate and performs focused examinations.
• Provides neonatal care for critically ill and complex patients from admission to discharge.
• Orders, performs, interprets diagnostics and relevant data collection.
• Forms differential diagnoses and treats neonatal conditions.
• Prescribes pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies as needed.
• Performs delivery room services and neonatal transport; initiates referrals.
• Manages transitions between care settings (admitting, transferring, discharging).
