Job summary

Mercy San Juan Medical Center seeks a Neonatal Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to advance NICU nursing care in its 40-bed Level III unit. You will lead clinical activities, promote evidence-based practices, and support professional development among staff.

The role requires advanced neonatal expertise, strong collaboration and change leadership, with education and mentoring responsibilities across the department.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN).
• Three to five years of RN NICU (Level III) experience.
• Active CNS license with NICU specialty.
• Active RN license in California.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical expertise to the neonatal unit and programs.
• Mentor staff in professional growth.
• Demonstrate knowledge of current research and translate into practice.
