The Employee Connect seeks an experienced NICU Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to join the neonatal intensive care team in Houston, TX. This high-impact clinical role provides direct pharmacy services to critically ill neonates in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate holds a PharmD from an ACPE-accredited school, completed a PGY2 residency in Pediatrics (CC with NICU experience may be considered), and has active NICU pharmacy experience with a Texas license.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited PharmD required.
• PGY2 Pediatrics residency required; CC with NICU may be considered.
• Active NICU pharmacy experience essential.
• Current Texas Pharmacy license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical pharmacy services to critically ill neonates in the NICU.
• Collaborate with neonatologists and care teams to optimize therapy.
• Perform neonatal dosing calculations and therapeutic monitoring.
• Implement evidence-based neonatal protocols and ensure safety.
• Precept students and residents rotating through NICU.
• Engage in quality improvement and formulary activities.
