Job summary

OU Health Partners is seeking a Neonatal APP or PA-C to provide comprehensive neonatal care within the Advance Practice Provider Pediatrics department. The APP/PA will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and research staff to assess, diagnose, and manage neonatal patients.

The role emphasizes patient and family education, care coordination, and participation in quality improvement and research activities within OU Health’s academic health system in Oklahoma.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing if APRN or PA program.
  • Active OK APRN or PA license required.
  • BLS certification required; NRP ADV Provider within 90 days.

Responsibilities

  • Performs comprehensive history and physicals and documents in EMR.
  • Develops and manages patient care plans with care coordination.
  • Participates in research opportunities to advance care.
  • Communicates and collaborates with physicians and care teams.
  • Involves education for patients and families; participates in meetings and committees.
