Job summary

Carle Health in Champaign‑Urbana, IL, is seeking a Neonatal NP/PA to join a team of 8 NPs and 6 Neonatologists in a 48‑bed NICU with a 14‑bed step‑down unit. The role includes attending high‑risk deliveries and performing advanced NICU procedures.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Nursing or as a Physician Assistant, with NICU Fellowship or NICU PA experience, Illinois RN and APP licensure, and Neonatal NP certification. Competitive compensation is provided.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant is required.
• PA applicants must have completed a NICU APP Fellowship or NICU PA experience.
• Current Illinois RN license and Advanced Practice Nurse license; Neonatal Nurse Practitioner certification required.

Responsibilities

• Attend high-risk deliveries and provide NICU coverage.
• Perform NICU procedures such as intubation, lumbar punctures, PICC lines, umbilical catheterization, and chest tubes.
• Provide 24‑hour coverage as part of a multidisciplinary team.
