Job summary

Grady Health System (South Fulton location) seeks a Full-Time Radiologic Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team and provide high-quality radiographic imaging services for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patient populations.

Under the direction of the Radiologist, the Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures across multiple settings while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to imaging protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography Program.
• ARRT registration or registry-eligible; must obtain ARRT within six months of hire.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients per departmental protocols.
• Prepare examination rooms to ensure safety, infection control, and hygiene.
• Ensure accurate patient identification using two identifiers and use the AIDET framework during interactions.
• Track patients from exam start to completion and document in PACS.
• Evaluate radiographic images for technical quality and verify patient demographics.
• Apply lead markers and technologist initials on images.
• Maintain imaging equipment with routine QC checks and calibrations.
• Assist with scheduling and support departmental workflow.
