Job summary

H&M Transport in Washington, DC is seeking a dedicated NEMT Wheelchair Van Driver to safely transport patients to medical appointments and discharges. You will assist passengers in and out, secure wheelchairs, and maintain clean vehicles while delivering courteous service.

Candidates need a valid driver’s license with a clean record, pass drug screen and background checks, and be available for weekend rotations. Competitive pay, benefits, and overtime opportunities await.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, and MVR screening.
• Capable of providing courteous, professional support to clients and caregivers during trips.
• Willingness to work rotating weekends, holidays, and occasional on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients and assist them in and out of the vehicle.
• Ensure wheelchairs and passengers are properly secured before driving.
• Provide courteous, professional support to clients and caregivers during trips.
• Keep vehicles clean inside and out (car washing membership provided).
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections using company software.
• Follow all company safety protocols and policies.
• Stay connected with dispatch and adapt to changing schedules.
• Represent the company with a positive, helpful attitude at all times.
