Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to manage projects or supervise undergraduate/graduate researchers.
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities.
• Pesticide Applicator’s License or ability to obtain one.
• Experience operating farm equipment or willingness to learn how to operate.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage laboratory, greenhouse, and field experiments in plant nematology.
• Coordinate research operations and procurement of supplies and equipment.
• Train graduate and undergraduate students on methodologies.
• Serve as primary PCard holder and manage purchases and reconciliations.
• Assist with outreach and field days and related activities.
