Job summary

Urban Strategies, Inc. seeks a Community Services Project Manager to plan and direct strategies promoting family stability in targeted areas, building strong partnerships with clients and community organizations.

This role is funded by Choice Neighborhood Initiatives grant funds and requires coordinating across service providers to meet program goals. You will develop plans, manage contracts and budgets, track outcomes, and report progress to leadership, with occasional travel and after-hours

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred; bachelor’s required.
• 5 years nonprofit or human services experience with increasing responsibility in project management, partnership oversight, contract management, and team supervision.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Comfortable facilitating group processes.
• Ability to set vision, lead, and empower team members, residents, and partners.
• Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
• Proficient in data analysis and data-driven program design.
• Strong sense of confidentiality for participants and staff.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Advanced MS Excel.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; budgeting and contracts experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage high-impact partners to meet program goals.
• Lead and support sub-contractors and partners across sectors in program implementation.
• Build and maintain relationships with key organizations and service providers.
• Manage project contracts and budgets and report expenditures to the Director of Finance.
• Develop and present internal and external reports to stakeholders.
• Facilitate community building, leadership training, and capacity-building activities.
• Occasionally work nights and/or weekends, and travel as needed.
• Provide resources and knowledge for client access to capital and financial literacy.
