Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Admissions Coordinator to manage initial client contact, document details, and coordinate needs assessments in a behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities include on-call admissions, maintaining accurate bed availability, and ensuring confidentiality and compassionate communication with clients and staff. A High School Diploma is required, a Bachelor's in a Human Service field is preferred, with experience in health or human services advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor Degree or higher in a Human Service field preferred.
• Experience in health or human services agency, preferably in a drug & alcohol setting.
• Demonstrates confidentiality, safety, excellent communication skills, effective interpersonal relationships and ability to be a team player.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 11:30 am - 8:00 pm

Deliverables/Principal Results Expected

Scope of Position & Technical Competency -:

• Conduct screening on potential client calls.
• Complete all documentation associated with client calls.
• Complete all required reports associated with Needs Assessment/Referral Development.
• Handle on-call/off hours admissions, referral and transportation needs.

Technical Competencies: Maintain accurate bed availability throughout the entire Pyramid system; demonstrate conduct in keeping with Pyramid ethical standards; participate in training and development activities to enhance job knowledge and skills. Working knowledge of emotional/mental health/drug & alcohol issues.

Education, Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor Degree or higher in a Human Service field preferred. Experience in health or human services agency, preferably in a drug & alcohol setting, preferred.

The starting compensation for this role is $15/hour; final compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
