Role: Senior Application Programmer

Client: State of LA

Location: Onsite (Baton Rouge, Louisiana)

Duration: Long-term

Scope of Services:

1. Analyze business requirements, assess solutions, and develop application code/fixes for migration projects.
2. Provide analysis for complex programs, including data extraction, conversion, ingestion into FileNet, and proof of concept using data sampling.
3. Create data-driven reports to verify data quality and quantity.
4. Conduct testing, validation, reconciliation, and report irregularities with plans for resolution.
5. Maintain migration schedules, timelines, testing, and reconciliation plans.
6. Deliver technical updates and project status reports to stakeholders.
7. Analyze problems and recommend solutions.
8. Collaborate on data mapping and transformations, documenting processes.
9. Manage work processes and coordinate with internal teams and partners.
10. Prioritize and resolve technical issues promptly.
11. Willing to work after hours or weekends for urgent tasks.

Required Experience:

• 2-5 years in data analytics, problem solving, data migrations, or ECM repositories.
• 4+ years with Db2 and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
• 3+ years in data extraction, transformation, migration, and load processes.
• 2+ years with .NET Core, Angular, Telerik, Bootstrap, Entity Framework, API services, CSS, and HTML5.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with DevOps methodologies.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of FileNet P8 Platform, repositories, object stores, and taxonomy.
• Proficiency in complex SQL coding and database backup/recovery.
• Experience with C#, VB.Net, Kofax Capture, IBM DataCap, BI, and data warehouse tools.
• Team-oriented and adaptable to dynamic environments.
• Technical degree or equivalent industry experience; certifications are a plus.
