NEDCON MARITIME: Machinist Foreman for naval shipyard

NEDCON MARITIME is recruiting for a position at a naval shipyard:

Machinist Foreman

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Machine Shop Foreman, Lead Machinist, or similar supervisory role in a shipyard or heavy industrial environment.
2. In-depth knowledge of machining practices, mechanical fits, tolerances, and materials.
3. Experience in CNC programming and operation.
4. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and machining specifications.
5. Familiarity with marine mechanical systems, shafting, propulsion, and pump components is a plus.
6. Proficient in basic computer applications for reporting and communication.
7. Strong English language skills, written and spoken.

Contract period: 6-9 months

Salary: $17/hour
