Job summary

The Davey Resource Group, Inc. is seeking an OSP Fiber Project Manager to oversee construction and implementation of outside plant fiber optic projects in Nebraska.

This field-based role requires leading crews, managing schedules, budgets, and safety on job sites with travel across the state (75%+). You will coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and utilities to ensure compliance with NESC/OSHA standards, maintain quality, and deliver projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in OSP fiber project management.
• 3+ years in fiber splicing management.
• Strong understanding of OSP fiber design and permitting.
• Knowledge of NESC/NEC/OSHA/DOT regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Experience with MS Project, Primavera, SAP, GIS tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and scopes.
• Oversee permitting processes including ROW and pole agreements.
• Ensure projects are on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Supervise field construction, splicing, testing.
• Coordinate with contractors and utilities to resolve field challenges.
• Conduct site visits and enforce safety regulations.
• Track materials and workforce deployment for efficiency.
• Serve as primary contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Lead regular project meetings and provide status updates.
• Travel 75% for on-site training and projects.
