Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a System Validation & Emulation engineer to develop AI and memory-heavy bare-metal workloads that stress subsystems and validate silicon bring-up across diverse SoC platforms.

You will debug across hardware and software boundaries, collaborate with architecture, firmware, software, emulation, and silicon teams, and contribute to productization for data center, AI accelerators, and flagship mobile platforms.

Qualifikationen

• BS/MS/PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• 3+ years of experience in memory validation, silicon validation, or platform bring-up.
• Strong debugging and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, scripting, and low-level software development.
• Solid understanding of SoC architecture, embedded systems, operating systems, memory hierarchy, caches, coherency & concurrency.
• Experience with silicon bring-up, validation, and root-cause analysis.
• Familiarity with JTAG, kernel debuggers, lab instrumentation, and validation tools.
• Experience working across the hardware/software boundary in highly complex systems.

About the Team

Qualcomm’s System Validation & Emulation (SVE) team is part of the central SoC validation organization responsible for ensuring end-to-end silicon quality across pre- and post-silicon phases.

This role focuses on content quality and system-level validation enablement, offering deep exposure to Qualcomm SoCs through bare-metal validation content, scalable automation frameworks, and complex system debugs. Engineers in this role work across HW and SW boundaries to develop, validate, and scale system-level test content, ensuring high-quality silicon validation across a wide range of SoC domains.

• Processing-in-Memory (PIM)
• High-Bandwidth Memory (HBM)
• LPDDR/DDR memory systems
• Memory controllers
• AI accelerators
• Knowledge on AI GEMM and GEMV operations, DMA operations, multi-threading
• AI/ML-assisted validation and debug methodologies
• Embedded firmware, device drivers, and bare-metal software
• Emulation, and post-silicon validation

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.

OR

• Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.

• PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.

Pay Range And Other Compensation & Benefits

$145,600.00 - $218,400.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
