Role description

The Field Supply Chain Team in North America is seeking a Full Systems OSC PM whose responsibilities will include estimating, ordering, releasing Otis equipment from OSC per spec, to be combined with vendor mechanical equipment, for the central procurement of Non-Otis full systems.

Responsibilities
  • Review elevator specifications and create OSC estimate in MOD eLOG per spec.
  • Request OSC drawings from OSC engineers, combine OSC drawings into a vendor mechanical drawing package, then send the full package to the local office for review.
  • Once drawings/submittals are received from the local office, release the OSC material in eLog per the approved drawings and coordinate OSC material delivery date with the vendor mechanical equipment.
  • Estimate and source OSC material through Otis MOD eLog system on behalf of local field offices to capitalize on savings with 3rd party full systems vendors, and incorporate Otis material into the majority of 3rd party full systems packages.
  • Manage Otis material through delivery and installation phase, coordinating with OSC MOD team to ensure correct package ordering and configuration, and installation and integration of material is efficient.
  • Work with OSC's Customer Service, MOD, FLO, Engineering, UNITEC, and external Supplier groups to resolve supply issues promptly; demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
  • Maintain a high service level (SLA) by evaluating customer demand and expediting material to meet internal/external customer needs.
  • Ability to perform timely escalations on issues that arise during centralized sourcing exercises.
Qualifications
  • Education: BS or BA in business, supply chain, or engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 1-3 years related experience in a supply chain function or elevator field experience.
  • Experience in NE or MOD project management or MOD sales.
  • Experience in MOD eLog.
  • Experience with Global JDE and associated systems (K2).
  • Microsoft products: Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Forms, SmartSheet, Teams; other data manipulation programs is a plus.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and customer elevator/escalator specification/requirement documentation.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional groups including Field Operations, Engineering, and Supplier Quality to meet business goals.
  • Must be able to work in and fully support a team environment.
Additional Comments

We seek a self-motivated, team-oriented person with good interpersonal skills and strong written and oral communication abilities. He/she must be well-versed in related business processes, associated systems, problem-solving methods, and analytical tools. Our internal and external customers are essential; this position requires an excellent Customer Service attitude. A strong understanding and application of lean manufacturing is a strong plus.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $92,000-$104,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future. Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
