Job summary

Voyager Technologies, based in Colorado, seeks an NDT Level II X-ray Technician to perform radiographic inspections of aerospace and defense components. The role starts onsite in Penrose, with transfer to Pueblo, CO, under the Quality Department supervised by the Quality Manager.

Responsibilities include image evaluation, documentation, calibration, and safety training. NAS410 Level 2 certification and 1,000+ hours radiography experience are required; 80 hours of formal radiography education is

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• NAS410 Level 2 Radiography Certification.
• Minimum 80 hours of formal classroom education in radiography.
• At least 1000 hours of hands-on radiography experience.
• Previous experience may be accepted if documented and reviewable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct radiographic inspections using X-ray technology to assess components for defects.
• Evaluate images and interpret results per specs, blueprints, and process instructions.
• Document findings and maintain historical quality records.
• Perform daily equipment setup, calibration, and quality checks.
• Conduct radiation safety surveys and annual training.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to ensure quality and safety standards.
