Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s NDT team in Palmdale, CA is seeking a Non-Destructive Test Technician to support development, prototyping, production and testing of military aircraft systems. The role requires Level 2 UT certification, ability to travel up to 90%, and eligibility for US government clearance.

Primary salary range is $56,000.00 - $93,400.00 with potential overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses depending on role and market conditions. Relocation may be available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years of Non Destructive Test experience.
• Level II Certification in UT per NAS-410.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US Govt clearance and Special Program Access.

Responsibilities

• Review routers, procedures, specifications, and instructions for completeness and proper operations.
• Process parts per procedures to evaluate for processing discontinuities.
• Operate UT inspection equipment/automated systems.
• Set up, operate, calibrate, and perform Process Control Checks on UT equipment.
• Interpret, evaluate, and report evaluation results.
• Fill out logs and data sheets; maintain audit-ready records.
• Maintain required job skills and knowledge of procedures and specs.
• Ensure work area, equipment, and documents are audit-ready.
• Complete additional duties as instructed.
