Job summary

JAB Recruitment in the United States is seeking experienced NDT Level II Technicians for a long-term offshore project on a 14/14 rotation. Technicians will perform Mechanical Integrity Inspections using Rope Access, employing conventional NDT methods along with CR/DR.

Selected candidates must complete 2-3 days of testing, provide current Level II certifications, and be able to work offshore, at heights, and in confined spaces.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years documented NDT Level II experience.
• Must provide current Level II certifications, training records, and signed OJT hours for each applicable NDT method, along with Rope Access certification.
• Experience performing offshore inspections and using rope access for access.
• Ability to set up and calibrate inspection equipment and document results.

Responsibilities

• Perform offshore inspections of piping, pipelines, pressure vessels, and structures using NDT and rope access.
• Set up and calibrate inspection equipment, conduct radiographic and other NDT testing, and prepare detailed inspection reports.
• Maintain strict compliance with company, offshore, radiation, and HSE requirements.
• Work offshore, at heights, in confined spaces, with travel and flexible scheduling including weekends.

Position Overview

Seeking experienced NDT Level II Technicians for a long-term offshore project on a 14/14 rotation. Technicians will perform Mechanical Integrity Inspections using Rope Access, utilizing conventional NDT methods along with Computed and Digital Radiography (CR/DR).

Selected candidates must successfully complete 2-3 days of testing consisting of three exams prior to assignment.

Required Certifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years documented NDT Level II experience
• IRATA Rope Access Level 1 or 2
• Level II - Ultrasonic Thickness (UTT)
• Level II - Dye Penetrant (PT)
• Level II - Radiographic Testing (RT)
• Level II - Computed & Digital Radiography (CR/DR)
• Level II - Visual Testing (VT)
• Radiation State Card
• TWIC Card
• Valid Driver’s License
• Valid Passport
• SafeGulf & HUET/Water Survival

Key Responsibilities

Maintain strict compliance with company, offshore, radiation, and HSE requirements.

Candidates must be comfortable working offshore, at heights, in confined spaces, and in physically demanding environments. Travel and flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays, may be required.
