Job summary

Gulfstream seeks a skilled Non-Destructive Test Technician II in Savannah, GA to perform NDT and ensure aircraft parts meet design data and safety requirements. You will apply UT, ET and other NAS 410 methods, record results, and support calibration and tool inventory.

You will work with a cross-functional team, adhere to radiation safety standards, and participate in shift rotations. The role requires NAS 410 Level II certifiable, 2 years of NDT experience, and strong reading of blueprints plus

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of NDT-related experience required.
• Certified in at least one NAS 410 NDT method; able to certify in a second method within 1 year.
• Must be NAS 410 Level II certifiable in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Eddy Current (ET).
• Preferred certifications: UT C-Scan/TTU, ET, CR Radiography (RT).
• Experience with Through Transmission and Immersion techniques preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Solumina and CATIA V5/6 familiarity.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical data.
• Basic shop math and measurement skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Must provide formal NDT training records.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) to determine product acceptability to the authorized limits of the NDT level obtained in accordance with prescribed methods and procedures.
• Records, organizes and evaluates test results and enter results into applicable documents.
• Ensure compliance to all radiation safety rules and regulations and provides protection to self and others during testing.
• Maintains equipment and assures calibration for tests to be performed.
• Maintains inventory control of area equipment.
• Performs automated ultrasonic C-scan inspection of composite parts.
• Must be able to work any shift.
• Collaborate within a team environment to ensure quality, safety, and performance standards be met.
