Job summary

American Engineering Testing (AET) is seeking an NDT Technician 1 to apply MT, PT, UT, RT and VT testing in field and lab environments across diverse projects.

You will help maintain certifications and work toward ASNT-TC-1A while collaborating with the NDT team to support testing, reporting, and proposals. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required, with DOT rules applying as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; DOT requirements may apply.
• Pursue ASNT-TC-1A for UT, MT, PT, RT with progress toward certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform MT, PT, UT, RT, and VT examinations; interpret results and prepare reports.
• Maintain certifications in MT, PT, UT, RT, VT and keep procedures/calibrations current.
• Interface with NDT manager to plan tests, proposals and scheduling of field/lab activities.
• Coordinate field projects with AET personnel and assist in reporting and invoicing.
• Support marketing and promotional activities for AET and the NDT department.
