Job summary

Intertek is seeking an NDT Supervisor (Pipe Mill) to lead inspection activities in Youngstown, OH. You will supervise inspectors, witness testing, and ensure QA objectives are met on the pipe mill project.

The role requires ASNT II, API 5L/5CT, and strong NDT experience (UT, MT, PT, VT). Candidates should have pipe mill experience and be autonomous, proactive, and client-focused. 12-hour shifts and a 55.00 USD hourly rate apply through 2026.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level ASNT II certification.
• API 5L and API 5CT standards required.
• Strong experience in NDT methods: UT, MT, PT, VT and related techniques.
• Experience in a pipe mill / tubular manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Autonomous, proactive and able to work independently; client-facing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monitoring, surveillance and supervision of pipe activities to meet project quality objectives.
• Witness testing and perform verifications; monitor project activities.
• Audit contractor, subcontractor and vendor quality against QA programs.
• Compile quality data to support changes in QA plans and procedures.
• Report overall QA status to the Client and Lead Pipe Mill Inspector.
