Job summary

Acuren Inspection is seeking an NDT Specialist to support in Bellingham, Washington. This full-time role involves performing NDT tests, developing inspection techniques, and ensuring compliance with ASME/API standards on client projects.

The successful candidate will hold current NDT certifications, have 5+ years of NDT experience, and may supervise others while interfacing with customers on schedules and problem solving.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of NDT experience with relevant methods.
• Current NDT certifications in UT/PAUT/RT/MT/PT/VT/CR/DR required.
• Experience developing techniques for customer certifying agents.
• Knowledge of ASME and API requirements for equipment in service.
• Ability to interface with customers on schedules and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Establish techniques for examination; ensure safety compliance.
• Apply testing criteria per specs and evaluate results.
• Identify and mitigate risk on client engagements.
• Review inspection data and prepare project reports.
• May instruct and supervise others.
