Job summary

Acuren is seeking NDT Level II RT/MT/PT/UTT Technicians to support our operations in Washington. Local candidates or those willing to relocate to the area are preferred.

Responsibilities include setting up and calibrating nondestructive testing equipment, performing tests to detect defects, interpreting radiographs, and reporting results. The role may involve supervising others and additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• NDT Level II certification required
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
• Experience interpreting inspection results and writing reports

LOCATION REQUIREMENTS: We are currently seeking local candidates who are based in Bellingham, Washington or those willing to relocate. While we welcome applications from all qualified individuals, local candidates are preferred due to the nature of the role.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
• Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
• Organize and report test results
• Perform specialized inspections
• May instruct and supervise others
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management

Skills
