Job summary

Acuren is seeking a NDT Specialist (AUT/PAUT/Guided Wave) for our St. Louis Park, MN location. The role conducts tests to detect discontinuities and ensures inspection procedures meet safety and industry standards.

You will perform specialized inspections, review documentation, and prepare project reports. Candidates should have five years of NDT experience, current certifications, and the ability to supervise others. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Technical background in NDT (METHOD/S; UT, UTPA, PAUT, CR, DR, etc.) and procedures with five years experience.
• Current NDT certifications in (METHOD/S; UT, UTPA, PAUT, CR, DR, etc.) required.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of NDT equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests to detect discontinuities using NDT methods; ensure safety compliance.
• Develop techniques for proper examination and adhere to specs and standards.
• Review inspection data and generate project reports with conclusions and recommendations.
• Identify, track, and mitigate risk on client engagements; escalate when needed.
