NDT Process Lead

The NDT Process Lead performs a variety of tasks associated with the NDT team.

Responsibilities
  1. Oversee all manufacturing equipment efficiently and safely.
  2. Follow Process Work Instructions, manual production processing, fit and assemble parts into complete assembly.
  3. Lead safety and quality improvement processes. Clean and organize work area according to 5S requirements.
  4. Demonstrate ability to meet production standards on specific tasks within required time. Contribute to the achievement of team goals.
  5. Complete tasks with high safety and quality standards.
  6. Be safety-minded: safely do the right thing, every time, without being told.
  7. Be a reliable team member by showing attendance within the requirements.
  8. Lift, position, and/or remove material from work areas.
  9. Load, stack, and transport materials by hand, truck, crane, or jib.
  10. Follow work process instructions specific to job tasks.
  11. Adhere to Production Worker Instructions (PWI).
  12. Be a collaborative and effective team player and able to lead teams.
  13. Read and comprehend Work Process Instructions and translate that into the ability to perform the required tasks.
  14. Accurately complete Quality and Administrative documents.
  15. Complete tasks using small tools.
  16. Perform all other duties as assigned.
  17. Getting certified as Level 2 (L2) is a requirement.
Education, Training, and Skills Required
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of work history in manufacturing.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Completion of on-the-job training may substitute for experience requirements.
  • Ability to bring teams together and promote a positive environment.
  • Basic system skills: Microsoft Office, SAP, and Apriso.
  • Must pass confined spaces test as required.
  • Must pass a respiratory fit test as required.
  • Participation in Vestas Behavioral Change (safety observations) program.
  • Heavy equipment training and certifications for cranes, forklifts, jibs, gantries, etc.

Schedule and Compensation

Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday

Hours: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Pay range: $32 - $38 per hour
