Job summary

AeroFlow Technologies is seeking an experienced NDT Penetrant Level II for 1st and 2nd shift to inspect welded joints using liquid penetrant and visual methods. The role involves processing hardware according to internal, customer and industry requirements and supporting other NDT personnel.

Qualified candidates will have NAS 410-based training, ability to read drawings/blueprints, familiarity with NADCAP audits, and experience with stainless steels, titanium, and aluminum.

Qualifications

• Requires NAS 410-based knowledge and certification hours.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints.
• Familiar with NAS-410, AWS, ASTM, Boeing SLS; swab etching experience a plus.
• Requires High School diploma or equivalent and completion of ASNT Level I and II courses.

• Performs Level I duties in addition to Level II duties; evaluates weld quality and supports other NDT personnel.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced NDT Penetrant Level II for both our 1st and 2nd shift. In this role you will be responsible for performing liquid penetrant and visual weld inspections as well as evaluating and interpreting the quality of fusion welds.

We are looking for a team player who can work well to support business needs and assist the NDT team.

So, what will you be doing as a 1st or 2nd Shift NDT Penetrant Level II?

• Performs Liquid Penetrant and Visual Weld inspection.
• Processes hardware in accordance with internal, customer and/or industry requirements.
• Performs level I duties in addition to level II duties. Evaluates and interprets the quality of applicable fusion welds to meet company and customer specifications. Supports other NDT personnel.

• Qualifications are based on NAS 410.
• Demonstrated familiarity with the scope and limitations of NDT methods.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints.
• Experience with stainless steel alloys, titanium, aluminum.
• Familiar with NADCAP audits.
• Must pay close attention to detail and be accurate.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal interface across organizational levels.
• Requires High School diploma or equivalent, and successful completion of ASNT Level I and II courses.
• Requires documentation demonstrating completion of at least the minimum hours of formal training and experience for each NDT method requiring certification. These hours are required to meet the minimum requirements of NAS 410 rev. 5. Candidates familiar with NAS-410, AWS, ASTM, Boeing SLS and swab etching experience a plus.

Pay Range: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour (based on experience) Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (1st shift) or 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM (2nd shift); Full-time, 40 hours per week
