Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of metals testing experience or an associate degree.
  • Achievement of ASNT Level II certification in at least one method.
  • Experience with fall protection equipment and personal fall arrest systems.

Your Role: Hands-On, Impactful, and Fast-Paced


As an NDT/NDE Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), you'll play a vital role in maintaining the safety and integrity of our most complex construction projects related to welding, bolt and steel connections performing non-destructive testing. The role is ideal for experienced inspectors ready to take on new challenges and responsibilities.




What You'll Do:



  • Inspection and Non-Destructive Testing: Conduct inspections and deploy non-destructive testing methods to uphold impeccable quality standards. A significant portion of field inspection time is spent performing non-destructive testing (NDT) duties such as ultrasonic inspection (UT) of welds and/or magnetic particle testing (MT) of welds.

  • Project Testing Assignments: Juggle testing assignments across projects, contributing to the success of each endeavor.

  • Equipment Maintenance and Calibration: Maintain testing equipment in working order and calibration; can include managing field and laboratory equipment inventories, maintaining formal calibration records, and participating in quality systems audits.

  • Report Creation: Craft detailed reports to communicate findings effectively.




What We're Looking For:



  • A High School Diploma/GED

  • At least 3 years of metals testing experience or an associate degree

  • AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification

  • Achievement of ASNT Level II certification per ASNT-SNT-TC-1A in at least one method

  • Safety, DDC, NDT, and Radiation Training

  • Experience in the use of fall protection equipment and personal fall arrest systems




What to Expect:


With the use of Company-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).



  • Outdoor, hands-on work in all weather conditions

  • Climbing heights over 200 feet

  • Lifting and carrying 40-50 lbs. of materials and equipment

  • Safely handling field tools and maneuvering equipment on active construction sites

  • Traveling out-of-town (typically overnight) for assignments as necessary

  • Working outside of normal business hours when necessary
