X-Ray Industries is seeking a hands-on X-ray Method Level 3 specialist in Manchester, CT to lead radiographic testing activities. You will work within a skilled NDT team, ensuring quality inspections and compliance with industry standards.

The role requires Level 3 certification, NAS 410 familiarity, and the ability to interpret standards and contract documents. Certification updates and shift flexibility are often needed to support testing operations.

Competenze

• Must have Level 3 in Radiographic Testing (RT).
• 4 years as Level 2 required unless a relevant degree reduces experience per XRI-2002.
• Ability to interpret codes, standards and contractual documents governing NDT methods.
• General knowledge of NDT methods and radiography testing processes.

POSITION OVERVIEW

• High School Diploma or GED required
• To perform this job successfully, the dedicated individual shall have sufficient education, training and experience to ensure qualification as a minimum in / with Radiographic Testing .
• Certifiable to Level 3 per the requirements of XRI 2002 (NAS 410 and SNT-TC-1A), i.e., 4 years as a Level 2 is required to qualify for Level 3 certification unless the following conditions are met (per XRI-2002 “A 2 year degree in engineering or science study at a technical school, college or university reduces the above to 2 years experience . A 3-4 year science or engineering undergraduate degree reduces the above to 1 year experience.
• Knowledge to interpret codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the NDT method(s) as used by XRI Testing.
• Have a general knowledge of NDT methods and product manufacturing and inspection technologies used by XRI testing and its customers. Specifically:
• Radiography (X-ray) (RT)
• Digital Radiography (DDA) (DR) (CR)
• To perform this job successfully, an individual shall have sufficient education, training and experience to ensure qualification in their respective method .

• Must meet minimum company requirements to operate a company vehicle and be eligible for coverage under Company insurance program.
