Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking a qualified Radiography/NDT professional to perform digital X-ray operations and inspections. You will read drawings, procedures and instructions, operate radiography equipment, and assist in maintaining equipment.

You will also work with trainers and technicians to improve processes and reduce waste in the value stream. The role requires NAS410 Level II in Digital Radiography and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs, with strong communication and mathematical skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• NAS410 Level II in Digital Radiography required.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Accurately perform basic mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Schedule workload of X-ray operations.
• Perform cycle counts to improve department efficiency.
• Coordinate with floor supervisors to establish production routines.
• Ensure travelers and routings are followed in the department.
• Operate X-ray booths as required.
• Read and understand part drawings and specifications for NDT.
• Learn and perform basic computer operations.
• Collaborate with engineering, weld and braze specialists.
• Develop and approve X-Ray techniques for new weld/braze designs.
• Provide training to Level I and II technicians.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
