Job summary

Holtec International is seeking highly qualified NDT Level III Inspectors to join its Quality and Nondestructive Examination (NDE) team in Camden, NJ. This role focuses on ensuring product and process compliance across nuclear, clean energy, and heavy industrial sectors.

The Level III will manage NDT operations, certify personnel, write procedures, and support audits. Travel up to 30–40% is required due to field services and audits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of NDT inspection experience as a certified Level II in RT or other methods.
• Current or prior ASNT Level III certification in RT; ideally with UT/PT/MT/VT.
• Strong understanding of real-time X-ray inspection systems and digital radiography interpretation.
• Experience with quality systems: ASME Section III, NQA-1, ISO 9001, AS9100.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with NDT imaging software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as NDT technical authority for RT, UT, MT, PT, VT.
• Develop, write, review, and approve NDT procedures per codes (ASME, ANSI, AWS, NAS-410, SNT-TC-1A).
• Train, qualify, and certify NDT personnel per internal practice and NAS/T-C-1A or NAS-410.
• Provide oversight to Level I and II inspectors and ensure compliance to codes and customer requirements.
• Perform and interpret real-time radiographic inspections using film and digital imaging.
• Review NDT results and data packages; maintain inspection records.
• Coordinate with engineers, quality managers, and customers to resolve non-conformances.
• Assist audits, supplier oversight, and certification activities; support new manufacturing techniques.
• Travel up to 30–40% for audits, inspections, or field services.
