Job summary

MISTRAS Group seeks an experienced NDT Level III / QA Manager to oversee the Quality Assurance Program for its North Slope operations in Alaska. The role involves coordinating inspections, certifying Level II technicians, conducting field audits, calibrating NDT equipment, and ensuring compliance with procedures and customer requirements.

The ideal candidate has extensive NDT expertise and strong leadership, with a thorough understanding of QA processes across multiple nondestructive testing

Qualifications

• 10 years’ NDT experience.
• Current NDT Level III certificates.
• North Slope, Alaska experience (preferred).
• Experience managing NDT quality programs in industrial, oil and gas environments (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain the overall Quality Assurance Program.
• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of NDT equipment.
• Conduct field audits of Level II technicians to verify compliance with procedures and quality standards.
• Provide NDT training and certify Level II technicians across applicable inspection methods.
• Review, approve, and implement NDT procedures, work instructions, and process improvements.
• Investigate customer complaints, identify nonconformances, and implement corrective actions.
• Document process changes and revise procedures as necessary.
• Develop, monitor, and manage KPIs related to quality and program performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and customer requirements.
• Promote quality, safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
