Job summary

Based at our Waltz Mill facility in Madison, PA, the Advanced NDT Level II Technologist will lead outage work, supervise on-site activities, and report progress to customers.

You will translate codes into practical procedures, mentor trainees, develop inspection plans, and travel during outage seasons to both nuclear and non‑nuclear facilities. This role requires 5+ years of NDT/NDE experience and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of NDT/NDE experience.
• Capability to certify to ASNT CP‑189 and ASME Section XI; multi‑discipline proficiency.
• Willingness and ability to travel during outage seasons.

Responsibilities

• Conduct NDT per procedures and interpret results to standards across nuclear and non‑nuclear settings.
• Act as project supervisor during customer outages—coordinate daily activities on site and report progress.
• Develop inspection techniques and procedures; build examination plans for field projects.
• Mentor Trainees and Level I/II personnel and support professional development.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot field service equipment at customer sites; ensure quality and safety.
• Travel during outage seasons and maintain Unescorted Access at Nuclear Power Plants; work with hazardous materials.
