Job summary

Standard Ship Repair is seeking an NDT 2 Technician to perform Visual Testing (VT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) aboard naval vessels in an ISO 9001 environment.

Responsibilities include conducting scope and procedural reviews, preparing equipment, and recording results to determine acceptance or rejection according to instructions. OSHA 10 Maritime and shipyard safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid California driver's license.
• Must possess basic skills (reading, writing, and mathematical skills).

Responsibilities

• Perform VT, MT, PT and UT per written instructions and record results.
• Conduct work scope and procedural reviews, and prepare equipment and supplies.
