Job summary

Applied Technical Services, LLC is hiring Parttime contractor Level II UTSW/MT Technicians for on-site work across the south central US and Midwest. AWS D1.1 experience is required, with a project duration of 4–6+ months. Competitive pay and per diem/travel are provided.

Responsibilities include material examinations, supervising trainees, and coordinating with clients and management to set work priorities. Strong written and verbal communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Level II UTSW/MT experience with AWS D1.1 requirements.
• Documentation of education, training and experience in NDT methods.
• Ability to communicate with other departments and customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform examinations of materials per procedures, codes and specs.
• Familiar with scope and limitations of methods and guide trainees.
• Interface with managers and clients to determine scope and priorities.
• Prepare written instructions and organize results.
• Work independently and support team members.
