Job summary

Acuren Inspection, Inc. is seeking an NDT Level II Technician in Louisiana to perform nondestructive testing, calibrate equipment, and report findings. You will interpret test results and ensure safety protocols in an industrial setting.

The ideal candidate holds Level II qualification (PT/VT/UT) with PMI; SPRAT/IRATA I is a plus. A strong technical background and experience in NDT reporting are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Level II in PT/VT/UT with PMI preferred.
• SPRAT/IRATA I certification a plus.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Ability to interpret NDT results and write reports.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect defects using NDT methods.
• Establish examination techniques ensuring safety regulations.
• Apply testing criteria per specifications and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs, CRT/digital readouts, conductivity meters, and visual indicators.
• Organize and report test results.
• Perform specialized inspections.
• May instruct and supervise others.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
