Job summary

Intertek in Houston, TX is seeking a part-time MT/PT/UTT/MFE Level II Technician to support our Industry Services team as a project-based, casual employee. The role involves in-situ NDT inspection, data interpretation, and reporting, aligned with industry standards.

Qualifications

ASNT Level II certification in UT-Thickness; MT and/or PT.
MFE Certification required.
RT Level II Certification a plus.
Minimum of 3+ years field experience (preferred).
TWIC Card (required).
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

ASNT Level II testing & inspection in UT-Thickness; MT and/or PT.
Perform MFE floor scans for tank inspection.
Set up and calibrate equipment and to interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
Level II responsibilities include on-the-job training and guiding Level I personnel.
Organize and report results of assigned NDT.
Maintain client, vendor, and internal communications professionally.
Pursue continuing technical education courses or seminars.
